First Aid

In the event of my child requiring first aid and I am not in attendance, I hereby give permission for a first aider present at each Junior Flag and Stableford Challenge event to carry out the necessary procedures.

Photo Consent

I give Junior Golf Ltd permission to take photographs and / or video of my child.

I grant Junior Golf Ltd full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.

Terms and Conditions

Please note at a 72 hour cancellation policy will apply to any events that you are unable to attend, failure to notify prior to this will results in a loss of entry fee.

Failure to play or notify your son/daughter is unable to play in any event may result in them being removed from the following event they are booked in for.

Each competitor will have access to each event listed on the bookings page, it is up to the Parents/Guardians and/or competitors to make sure they sign up for each event prior to the event registration closing, not doing so may result in the competitor not being able to play in the event.

Each event is booked on a first come first served basis, for the that have opted for the single payment option you will have priority access to the booking of events, however failure to book prior to the event becoming available to the pay as you go juniors will mean that you risk losing out on the opportunity to book that particular event. No exceptions will be given to anyone.

Email contact – we will send emails to your registered email address for all correspondence relating to any of our events and where required we may need to send out emails from our sponsors and potentially partner clubs to allow the tour to run successfully.

GDPR, we will only hold the information that you provide us throughout the registration process, this will be held securely by the owners only and not shared with any other people/companies. You may receive from time to time emails from our sponsors, but these will be sent directly by us as part of the agreement that we have with out sponsors to secure the necessary funding to operate the tour.

Event Entry
Age Qualifying Date: 1st March 2019 (unless specified on the event page)
Entering a Junior Golf Ltd tournament couldn’t be easier, simply log in with your details and you will be forwarded onto the entry page, from here click on the “Book” button for the relevant event and you will be able to register.
Registration for each individual event is required, entries will close 10 days prior to the event and tee times will be allocated on the Monday prior to the event
It is the responsibility of the player to know his or her own tee time.
All tee times are subject to change and you must check before travelling.
Arriving at the event
Registration opens 1 hour before the first tee time. At the venue, look for our Junior Golf Ltd registration desk and make yourself known to the registration staff.

You must be at the first tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time.
The Event starter will announce on the tee each player’s name before he or she tees off.
All players must walk unless prior agreement with tournament organisers.
Parents/Guardians can caddy for children in our flag events if they wish, this will be communicated prior to the event.
Parents/Guardians must not coach or assist their child in any way shape or form. Failure to abide by this could result in disqualification from the event.

Flag Events

Each competitor will have 36 shots to play as far round a shortened golf course as possible
Parents/Guardians will be allowed to caddy for categories, this will be highlighted prior to the first event, there must be no coaching or any other information passed from parents to children during the events

Scoring – Points will be awarded a sliding scale from there depending on which hole the competitors have finished on. Points will be awarded as follows:

1st 200
2nd 190
3rd 180
4th 170
5th 160
6th 150
7th 140
8th 130
9th 120
10th 110
11th + 100

Additional points will be available at our “major” events and each competitor will pick up 50 points at each of our “fun/team” events.

9 Hole Stableford Events

All competitors will play over 9 holes
The maximum handicap for both boys and girls will be 54.

All children playing in the stableford event will need to carry/push/pull their own bag

Parents/Guardians can only be spectators at the events.

Scores from the 9 hole stableford will not be returned to your home club unless the club we are visiting have a designated 9 hole course and standard scratch.
Scores will be processed and a leaderboard will be formed, your positioning will determine you points allocated for the tour:

4th 170
5th 160
6th 150
7th 140
8th 130
9th 120
10th 110
11th + 100

Additional points will be available at our “major” events and each competitor will pick up 50 points at each of our “fun/team” events.

18 Hole Stableford Events

All competitors will play over 9 holes
The maximum handicap for both boys and girls will be 28 for boys and 36 for girls.

All children playing in the stableford event will need to carry/push/pull their own bag

Parents/Guardians can only be spectators at the events.

Scores from the 18 hole stableford will be returned to your home club for handicapping purposes, every player can go up and down in handicap through our events.
Scores will be processed and a leaderboard will be formed, your positioning will determine you points allocated for the tour:

6th 150
7th 140
8th 130
9th 120
10th 110
11th + 100

Tour Championship Finals

The top 10 competitors from each category and/or age group will be invited to participate our Tour Championship Final. Thos will be held in the month of October.

These rules are subject to change at any time as per the wishes for the Junior Golf Ltd Team or the benefit of the tour.

Event Cancellation
Junior Golf Ltd always endeavour to run all tournaments as advertised; however, in the event of any competition being cancelled, possibly due to the weather, the website will be updated immediately; players will then be notified as soon as possible by email, text or phone. Refunds will not be offered, however an alternative date may be provided if the clubs can accommodate.

Spectators
All spectators should stay off fairways, tees and greens and walk in front of the group they are watching; this way, you won’t be causing a delay to the group behind or in any danger of being hit.

Photography
There may be an event photographer at all Junior Golf Ltd competitions, plus a media photographer at some events.
As a standard condition of entry, pictures may be used by Junior Golf Ltd for all promotional purposes. This includes website, newsletters and newspaper publications.

Accident and Injuries
Competitors play at their own risk. Spectators and caddies also walk the course at their own risk.
Junior Golf Ltd takes no responsibility for any accidents or injuries that happen at any of the events.

Code of Conduct
The Junior Golf Ltd runs high quality, professional, and fun competitions for all junior players.
Players and parents must abide by the Rules of Golf and maintain good golfing etiquette both on and off the course.
VIOLATIONS OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT
Unsportsman-like conduct, including abusive language, club throwing, disrespect to volunteers, officials or fellow competitors.
Deliberate miss-counting of shots.
Any abusive behaviour to any other persons and property at the Golf Club.
Any breach of these rules may cause a ban from attending future Junior Golf Ltd events, and persons guilty of improper conduct at any competition will be asked to leave.
In the event of any unresolved issues, parents should speak, in private, to the Junior Golf Ltd Directors at an agreed time and not in front of children.
Junior Golf Ltd officials decisions are final.
